Reviewing & Posting Rules

We want this section to help members make informed decisions about courses, programmes, businesses and money-making opportunities. Genuine reviews, warnings and negative experiences are welcome, but please follow these rules.
1. Share genuine experiences
Reviews and warnings should be based on your own experience or reliable, verifiable information.
2. Stick to the facts
Clearly distinguish between what happened and your opinion or conclusion.
For example:
"I paid £500 for the course and it included 10 modules. I completed all of them and didn't receive the promised one-to-one support."
is preferable to:
"This company is a scam."
3. Be careful with serious allegations
Don't accuse an individual or business of being a fraudster, criminal, scammer or operating illegally unless you have reliable evidence to support the claim.
If you're unsure, describe what happened and let other members draw their own conclusions.
4. Provide evidence where possible
Screenshots, receipts, advertisements, terms and conditions, emails and other relevant evidence can help members understand the situation.
Remove personal information before posting.
5. No harassment or pile-ons
Do not encourage members to contact, attack, threaten, harass or leave coordinated negative reviews for a person or business.
6. Give businesses an opportunity to respond
Where appropriate, businesses or course creators may be given an opportunity to respond to significant reviews or allegations.
7. No fake or manipulated reviews
Do not post reviews on behalf of someone else, deliberately misrepresent your experience or create multiple accounts to influence opinions.
8. MLMs and pyramid schemes
Discussion of MLMs and pyramid schemes is welcome, but don't automatically describe an MLM as an illegal pyramid scheme. Explain the business model and your concerns and provide evidence where possible.
9. Moderation
Posts may be edited, temporarily hidden or removed if they contain unsupported allegations, personal information, harassment or other content that could put members or the forum at risk.
Our aim is not to prevent honest criticism. It's to make sure reviews and warnings are useful, fair and based on evidence.
